The Mandai Wildlife
Group has moved to a centralized ticketing system, which can be a
bit confusing at first. You don't just buy a ticket for one attraction;
you buy a "Mandai Pass" that you then use to reserve entry to the
specific wildlife parks.
Here’s a clear breakdown of the tickets and how the
system works.
The Core Concept: The Mandai Pass
Instead of separate tickets, you purchase a Mandai
Pass, which is a credit that allows you to book entry to the
parks. The main pass types are:
-
Single Park Pass: Entry
to one park of your choice.
-
Multi-Park Pass: Entry to
two or more parks (e.g., Bird Paradise + Zoo, etc.).
-
Wildlife Pass: The most
flexible option, giving you entry to all four parks (Bird Paradise,
Night Safari, River Wonders, and Singapore Zoo).
Attractions in the Mandai Cluster
There are currently four main
wildlife parks:
-
Bird Paradise (The
newest park, relocated from Jurong)
-
Singapore Zoo
-
Night Safari (World's
first)
-
River Wonders (Previously
known as River Safari)
Entry Ticket Prices (As of
2023-2024)
Prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are generally
lower for residents. The following are standard online adult prices for
a Single Park Pass. Always
check the official Mandai Wildlife Reserve website for the most current
prices and promotions.
-
Singapore Residents
(SPR/Local): Enjoy significant
discounts. You must show your NRIC/pass upon entry.
-
Infants (0-2 years): Free
entry for all parks.
-
Multi-Park Passes: Offer
savings compared to buying single passes separately. For example, a
2-Park Pass might cost ~$78 for an adult, which is cheaper than two
single full-price tickets.
The Crucial 2-Step Booking Process
This is the most important part to understand:
Step 1: Purchase a
Mandai Pass
You buy the pass itself on the official website. This gives you a
credit.
Step 2: Reserve Your
Park Visit Slot
After purchasing the pass, you must go
back into the system to book a specific date and time slot for the
park(s) you want to visit. This is to manage crowd capacity.
-
You are NOT
guaranteed entry just by buying the pass. You
must complete this reservation step.
-
Time slots, especially for popular dates and the Night Safari, can
run out, so book early.
Other Types of Tickets &
Experiences
-
Tram Rides:
-
Singapore Zoo, Bird Paradise,
and Night Safari have tram services that loop around
the park.
-
The tram ride is not included in
the standard entry ticket and must be purchased separately
(usually around $5-$10 for adults). You can buy an "Entry +
Tram" bundle when purchasing your Mandai Pass.
-
Show & Feeding Sessions:
-
Premium Experiences:
Key Takeaways & Tips
-
Book Online: Always
book your Mandai Pass and reserve your slot online in advance. It's
often cheaper and guarantees your entry.
-
Check the Official Website: This
is the only way to get accurate, up-to-date pricing and
availability. Go to mandai.com (the
official site for Mandai Wildlife Reserve).
-
Reserve Your Slot: Don't
forget the second step! Your pass is useless without a reserved time
slot.
-
Consider Multi-Park Passes: If
you plan to visit more than one park, the bundle offers are much
better value.
-
Resident Discounts: If
you are a Singapore resident, make sure to select the resident
option and have your ID ready for verification at the gate.
For the most direct and accurate information, always
refer to the official Mandai Wildlife
Reserve website.

Tips for Your Visit
-
Getting There: You
can get to Sentosa via cable car, monorail (Sentosa Express from
VivoCity), car, bus, or even on foot via the scenic Sentosa
Boardwalk.
-
Combo Tickets: Look for
bundled tickets online (e.g., on Klook or Pelago) for attractions
like Universal Studios + S.E.A. Aquarium for savings.
-
Plan Your Day: The island
is large. Prioritize the attractions you want to see most, as it's
difficult to do everything in one day.
-
Wear Comfortable Shoes: You
will be doing a lot of walking.
For the most current opening hours, prices, and to book
tickets, always check the official
Sentosa website.
